Suzuki RM-Z tech info

Suzuki RM-Z description
Purchased in the crate from Suzuki and stored in a climate controlled garage. Just out of the crate this March, 0 hours. Pictures tell the story. Comes complete with owner's kit with service manual and side stand. This is a brand new bike at a used price. There is no KBB or NADA book value to refer to because it is; NEW. Parts value is easily over $8,000. Check ebay sellers of unused parts from similar bikes for verification. This is the bike for 99% of the riders out there who aren't Ken Roczen or another top 100 AMA Pro and who don't want to or can't, pay as much as $9,000 out the door for the latest model which shares about 85% of the same components as this bike. You CAN have a lot of fun being the first person to take it out and ride it without the expense of buying a new 2015 to 2017 for a LOT more. If you're concerned with cosmetics, an updated complete plastics kit can be found on ebay for under $120, and a black seat cover for under $40. There's also currently a seller who parts out new bikes offering the complete 2015 plastics set and a 2014 complete seat for under $400 if you want the OEM look at a fraction of what the Suzuki parts counter price would be.
I prefer pick up in person, but will gladly work with you if you need to use a shipper. If shipping, once the bike is paid for, and funds have cleared, I will send the bill of sale, owner's manual, and side stand to you unless your shipper is willing to accept these items. I will keep the bike in climate controlled storage for up to 3 months at no charge, in order to give you plenty of time to arrange pick up. But with summer riding season here, why would you want to wait that long? : - ) I reserve the right to end the listing early, as the motorcycle is also listed for sale on craigslist and cycle trader. |

Readers' Rides: 1997 Suzuki Savage Cafe Racer
Mon, 06 Apr 2020Gary Corde tells us about his eye-catching 1997 Suzuki Savage cafe racer: I’m happy to brag about my cafe racer. This bike started out life as a ’97 Suzuki Savage. The bike was an unloved and rusted basket case that I purchased to repurpose into a useful motorcycle.
