Bike haslow miles but I have ridden it for the summer and repaired everything that it needed.I pulled the head and cylinders and decarbonized it. The pistons and cylindersare in terrific shape I honed them very lightly and installed new rings. The crankseals are good. I cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and installed new rubber coverson the linkages and the throttle rods. Battery is almost new. I installed both rear sprockets and installed a new heavy duty chain.It has a new rear tire and new fork seals, new seal on gas cap and the pet cockis rebuilt. new seal in oil pump and new o rings on the feed lines. Pump works great.The timing is set with a dial indicator. I am a retired machinist and mechanicand take pride in my work. The gas tank is very clean inside. It’s a good job the seller is in no rush to sell. Surely this is the worst looking SV650 ever?You can see the original ad here.

Tue, 21 Jun 2011Official photographs and details of the updated 2012 Suzuki V-Strom have emerged as the Japanese manufacturer continues its prolonged teaser campaign to hype its “New Middle-Class Motorcycle”. Indeed, the latest teaser is expected later today but images and specifications on the updated Wee-Strom have emerged from Suzuki’s global site. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 will again be powered by a SV650-derived 90-degree V-Twin engine with a displacement of 645cc.
