Suzuki Other description

For sale is this 1991 suzuki dirt bike. If you are looking for a trail bike, this is about as good as it gets. It is a 650cc, 4-stroke, five gear (1 down, four up), oil cooled dirt bike. It has front and rear disk brakes. Aftermarket exhaust makes this bike quite aggressive. Suspension is nice as well. This bike only has a little over 5,000mis on it! It is kick start only and has a decompression lever to make starting it easy. This is a fast bike. Sold with bill of sale. I have a couple extra sprockets, new brake pads, and user manual for the bike as well. I don't have much time to ride any more with college and work. Oh well.Call if you want to check it out. This is a home phone so no text messages. I'm located in Geneva IL 60134 which is about an hour west of Chicago. $1499tags: enduro, trail, honda, xr, klr, kawaski, yamaha, motorcycle, 4 stroke, dr650s, dr650m, dr 650, dr350, dr250

Suzuki to Close Spanish Motorcycle Factory

Tue, 06 Nov 2012

The digital ink is still wet on news of American Suzuki declaring bankruptcy and shutting down its car business to focus on powersports and marine products, and now there’s more bad news for the Japanese manufacturer. Suzuki announced it will close its motorcycle factory in Gijón, Spain, in March, 2013, shutting the company’s sole European production plant. The factory has been producing motorcycles and scooters for Suzuki since 1984, with the manufacturer taking 100% ownership of the factory.
