2011 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, I am unfortunately selling my Suzuki DL1000. The bike is like new with only 3254 miles on it. The bike has had all its regular servicing through authorized dealer, has never been layed down, or taken off-road. I used it as a daily commuter to work to save gas. There are no scratches and is as close to show room condition as a used bike could get. I am selling because I am looking to buy something else. It is a great bike and gets about 200 miles a tank and only takes $14.00 to fill up. The engine is absolutely amazing in this bike tons of power but only when you need it and mild when you want it. Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
