Suzuki Other description

2011 Suzuki 650 BURGMAN, Yes, it's technically a 2 year old Executive Bergman 650 Scooter but you'd never know it after a close inspection -- with only 440 miles and perfect cosmetics and mechanical operations we could have fibbed and said it was new. The only owner traded it ion on a new BMW C650GT scooter and that makes a great opportunity for someone to grab this great all around big displacement scooter with extra features. The Bergman Executive model comes with ABS brakes, an exceptionally comfortable two passenger seat, enough storage under the seat for many bags of groceries, cargo or simply two helmets plus when you stop for lunch. The under the seat cargo area even boasts a loading light. It also has three other storage compartments up front making it easy to stow smaller items and keep them handy. This one also has a passenger and riders backrest/support which is even adjustable for greater comfort. And how about some special drive line features? The Executive comes with the option of switching from fully automatic shift to manual with a power boost feature. It also has power mirrors just like those expensive cars so when squeezing through rush hour traffic or just parking in tight spaces like they do in Europe you can gain another foot of clearance -- when they are out they provide a great view of everything you're passing too. There's even a power adjustment for the windscreen!Finished in a beautiful metallic white paint with just enough chrome to highlight the paint, the all black interior panels and seat make for a head turning machine capable of all the in town, around town and weekend fun you have planned but is capable of traveling anyplace in the world with the big boys and girls -- a few years back one of the Iron Butt participants completed that grueling 11 day event on a similar Bergman 650 Scooter!

WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.

2004-2013 Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes Recalled for Master Cylinder Replacement

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Suzuki is recalling 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 sportbikes as well as GSX-R1000 models from 2005-2013 because of a problem with their front brake master cylinders. As of publication, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not officially announced any recalls because of the federal government work stoppage, but notices have been sent out to dealerships across the U.S. Meanwhile, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has posted a recall, and we expect to see further news to come from other markets.
