Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa ABS Recall Expands to US

Suzuki Motor of America has recalled the 2013 Hayabusa because of a problem with its anti-lock brake system. A Hayabusa recall was previously announced for the Canadian market, and it was no surprise a similar recall was announced for the U.S., as the issue traces back to a single part supplier, affecting several models from multiple manufacturers. The Suzuki Hayabusa is just one of several models from multiple manufacturers affected by a manufacturing error by ABS part supplier Nissin.

2014 Suzuki Burgman 125/200 Revealed; 200 Version Coming to US

The big news from Suzuki this past weekend was preview and release of specs for the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 in France at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Slightly overshadowed however was the official unveiling of two new Burgman scooters with 125cc and 200cc engines. European consumers have had the Burgman 200 and Burgman 125 (perennially one of the top selling scoots in Europe) for more than a decade now while here in North America, we’ve only have the larger Burgman 650 model.
