Suzuki Prepares For Season Finale LeMans 24hr Endurance Race

The defending champions haven’t scored a single victory this year, but are hoping its fortunes turn for them during this weekend’s season finale: the grueling 24 hours of LeMans. Yes, motorcycles participate in this classic race, but the course configuration is entirely different from what the car guys use. 2013 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance World Championship Results
Mon, 29 Jul 2013The Musashi HARC-Pro Honda team of Leon Haslam, Michael van der Mark and Takumi Takahashi captured the 2013 Suzuka 8 Hours race. The Musashi team was joined on the podium by the Yoshimura Suzuki team of Takuya Tsuda, Nobuatsu Aoki and Josh Brookes and the Kagayama Suzuki team of Yukio Kagayama, Noriyuki Haga and Kevin Schwantz. The Musashi team completed 214 laps to win the endurance race.
Philippine Superbike Champion in Fatal Accident
Thu, 19 May 2011Four-time Philippines national superbike champion Maico Greg Buncio has succumbed to injuries suffered in a high speed crash May 14 in a qualifying session at the Clark Speedway Racing Circuit. According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the 22-year-old Suzuki factory racer high-sided after his GSX-R600 ran over some debris on the track. Maico reportedly rolled into an unfinished barrier and was pierced by a protruding steel bar.
