Suzuki Other description
2005 Suzuki V-Strom 650, Hello, I'm selling my 2005 Suzuki V-Strom, 650 with 44,478 miles. Suzuki classifies it as an adventure/touring bike. I love this bike, but family medical problems have forced me to face the realization that it has to go. I want you to know and understand that this is an excellent bike! I've not had one mechanical problem. I've babied this thing and taken good care of it. It's been garage parked. I've kept up on the regular maintenance. Just this year (2013) I gave it a full tune up (e.g. replaced the air filter, change the spark plugs, flushed the anti-freeze, replaced the front and rear tires and replaced the chain one of the best chains in the market). So if you're looking for a very reliable, well performing and peppy bike; this is it. Regarding my peppy statement. If you are put off by it being just a 650, I would suspend disbelief. This is a mean 650. It has all the power you need to keep up and go. If I pull back on the throttle I really have to work to hold on. When going up a hill on the freeway I gear down one or two gears and it have no problem accelerating past other vehicles. Frankly, I don't know what the aversion is to owning a bike with less than 1000cc. I can say this though, I have ridden other 750cc street bikes and found them to be a little weak, but this bike isn't a weakling. The best part about owning this 650 is the MPG. I average between 45-50 MPG. When I take the entire luggage cases off I get between 52-54 MPG. I've taken day long trips as well as used the bike to commute back and forth to work. It's a great for traveling or commuting. This bike comes with a lot of extras like hand guards, engine guard, front spare tire (for adventure trail riding), spare tubs (if you prefer to used tubbed tires), additional Givi Mono-key replacement parts and comfort foot rests for long rides. It comes with the full set of removable Givi cases (e.g. side and rear- currently valued at $643 brand-new). I took a trip down to southern Idaho this summer and I was blown away by how much I could pack in the Givi cases. It also comes with a front saddle bag that easily attaches to the gas tank. I've add two gel-seat cushions ($110), battery tender/adapter (so you can run power to your heated suit or iPhone or whatever you want to light up). And best of all, I've added a new Cee Bailey's front windshield ($190) to replace the Suzuki stock windshield. Cee Bailey makes some of the best motorcycle windshields, period. Best part of all, the windshield is fully adjustable (e.g. front-to-back and up-and-down) so you can tailor it to your riding needs. Be happy to show the bike. You can contact me at 509-three--9--two; 9-five--two--six. $4,300.00

Church of MO: 2000 Suzuki Bandit 600S
Sun, 05 Apr 2020Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them.
AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
Tanom Motors To Unveil Invader Model R High Performance Reverse Trike in 2014
Fri, 08 Nov 2013We’ve noticed most three-wheelers on this site get a bad reception from you, our faithful MO readers, so we’re interested in hearing your thoughts on the Tanom Motors Invader Model R. A reverse trike very similar to the Campagna T-Rex, Virginia-based Tanom has just unveiled the Invader Model R at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
