Suzuki Other description

2004 Suzuki 750 , I'm selling my custom 2004 GSX-R750. It currently has 13,900 miles on it. The bike is blacked out with custom checkered vinyl, is stretched, lowered, and has full exhaust and sprockets. The bike has never been down the track or on a dyno, but runs great and is very quick. I've loved owning and riding this bike, just time to move on to something else. The bike has had a recent tune-up including new fluids and everything lubricated, tightened, and adjusted. List of what is on the bike: Blacked out paint job; Custom Checkered Vinyl; Gilles Gold Rear Set; Roaring Toys 6" extension; New EK Gold Chain; Thrust Company Front Sprocket 1 Up; Thrust Company Rear Sprocket in Black 2 Down; Custom Gold Gas Cap; 2007 GSXR 1000 Stock Titanium Headers; 2007 M4 GP Muffler; Galfer SS Rear Brake Lines; Pazzo Gold Brake and Clutch Levers; Flush Signals painted black to match the bike; OEM Suzuki Frame Sliders; Front and Rear Drag Tires; Tinted Double Bubble Windscreen; GSXR Chrome Cap for the Brake Master Cylinder; HID's in the Low Beams; Lowering Links; Carbon Fiber Accents all over the bike; Gel Seat with GSXR embroidered in it; LED Taillights with Intergrated Signals (Painted Smoke Black); *NOT INSTALLED* *NEW* Galfer SS Front Brake Lines .... Cons of the bike: The switch from the High beams is broken at the very top of the switch. The ballast may be going out for the HID's. The subframe is cracked (this is the frame under the seat) and can be welded back together. (The crack is more cosmetic than structural). The bike has a rebuilt title from the original owner, and was completely rebuilt by Performance Cycle in OKC. The rear tire will need to be replaced soon. $4,750.00 4057406760

Suzuki GSX-R day at Snetterton

Wed, 21 Jul 2010

I have to hold my hands up and make a confession. I have completely changed my mind about Suzuki’s GSX-R1000 K9. Back in the depths of winter I rode our long termer and found myself (without trying) doing jail-sentence speeds by doing nothing other than short shifting through the gear on half throttle.

Dunno 'bout you but most of my sixteenth year was spent picking gravel out of my knees. I think I probably fell of my Fizzie at least once a week. All of it was my fault, of course.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
