2000 suzuki tl1000r.. needs inspection, oil change and possibly a new battery. Runs good, has a few minor scratches. The seat started to dry rot/crack this past summer. Have only put about 5k. miles on it in the past five years. Have a family and don't gwt to ride much.. if interested I also have 2 helmets and 3 jackets that I would sell along with the bike. Has just under 20,000 mis on it. I was told I'm the 2nd owner. Has a power commander on it, not sure how its tuned but the bike is super fast. Not recommened as a beginner bike. 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Recalled for Defective Drive Chain
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Suzuki Motor of America announced a recall on the 2014 V-Strom 650 ABS because of a problem with the drive chain. As of this writing, the recall campaign has not been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect this to be done shortly. Meanwhile north of the border, a similar recall has been announced for the 2014 Suzuki GSX650FA by Transport Canada describing a similar problem.
