Suzuki Other description
1999 Suzuki Katana 750, SAVE BIG!! EXHAUST - Cycle World named the Katana 750 one of the "10 Best Motorcycles of 1998." Beyond its dual headlights and sleek, wind-tunnel designed bodywork, the Katana 750 offers a renowned combination of sport-bike performance and sport-touring comfort. The 1999 Katana 750 has a 16-valve engine derived from the original, legendary GSX-R. It has a direct air intake system and Slingshot carburetors for crisp, precise throttle response. And, thanks to the Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACSTM), which combines air and oil cooling, its engine is lighter and more compact than most conventional liquid-cooled engines, and dissipates heat with maximum efficiency so you can run hard and strong all day long.

Mon, 06 Sep 2010It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.
Archive: Yoshimura Hayabusa X1R
Thu, 21 Jan 2021Millennium Falcon For a couple of years there’ve been rumors suggesting there’s a new Hayabusa on the way, and with that old warhorse currently MIA from Suzuki’s list of returning 2021 models, the buzz has grown a bit louder that Suzuki’s fixing to spring a new World’s Fastest Production Motorcycle on the world. This time we’ll be a bit less unsuspecting than we were in 1999, and this time, it won’t be so easy a feat for Suzuki to pull off, given the existence of the Kawasaki H2 Carbon, which made an honest 206-rear-wheel horsepower on our dyno last November. Whether the new ’Busa is fact or fiction, it probably won’t be the earth-shattering experience the original 1999 GSX-R1300 was, a motorcycle that had no peer or precedent when it came to bouncing off its 186-mph speed governor.
Half Sportbike + Half Sportcar: Suzuki SXForce Concept
Sun, 26 Oct 2008How does that saying go? “Necessity is the mother of invention.” All the riders who regularly decide between two-wheels or four should get a kick out of the Suzuki SXForce concept. From the outside this peppy car looks like a highly-customized street dream.
