Here is a 1st year Ts400 J model APACHE. This bike fires right up, first or second kick, Idles very well. It runs though all the gears like it was 10 years old not 44 years old. The entire bike has an aerosol overhaul in flat black. I have no idea what they were thinking. I rescued it from further defacing, cleaned the carb, install a new plug and it fired right up. Brake clean will remove the black paint, I have done some areas of the bike. It has matching engine and frame, the engine sounds great. air box is in place, rubber snorkels on either side of carb should be replaced. Steering stops are in place. there is a dent in right side of tank. The oil pump is functioning. This bike really deserves to be restored and it will need that. NO TITLE: I put rebuilt in there cause eBay is behind the time and the no title choice does not exist. NO paperwork. 2014 AMA Supercross – Houston Results
Tue, 08 Apr 2014Ryan Villopoto ran mostly unchallenged for his fourth win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, taking advantage of an early spill by Ryan Dungey. The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.
Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50T Classic Announced
Tue, 25 Oct 2011During Suzuki’s annual dealer meeting the company reported that cruiser sales at large are down 6.2% YTD. However, Suzuki says its cruiser sales are up 12.5%, and in an effort to keep riding this wave that’s handily outpacing the rest of the cruiser market, the company announced the addition of the Boulevard C50T Classic. While the Classic is a carbon copy of the C50T, it does away with the C50T’s standard windshield, passenger backrest and saddlebags.
