Cosmetically, the body is great shape with some normal wear and tear for it's age.  There is some rust in the front wheel wells (great in rear), and places where some paint has rubbed off on frame, (both pictured).  The engine turns freely and starts and runs great. The bike could use a little TLC.  I bought the bike last year and only used it a few times.  The previous owner had it in storage since ~2006.  The tailpipe gets pretty smokey and a little oil drips out of it (heard that sometimes happens with a 2-stroke). I have not had the carburetor cleaned and this may solve the problem. Other than that, it is a sharp   little bike that sounds super cool!!!  I am selling it because I just haven't used it like I thought I would, and I need money for a new car soon :)
-Sorry U.S. only!
-Pick up ONLY
-All sales are final  (No returns)

** bike is sold "as is" **  Please feel free to ask any questions before purchasing :)

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
