Suzuki Intruder description

2001 SUZUKI Intruder LC VL1500, 2001 Suzuki VL 1500 Intruder LC To many riders, the long, low, massive cruiser style is what motorcycling is all about. The VL1500 Intruder LC successfully blends all of these elements with modern technology. The VL1500 air/oil cooled engine is tuned to produce peak torque at just 2300 rpm and geared to turn a leisurely 2700 rpm at 65 mph. The engine is based around the same crankcase and 5-speed shaft drive system as the legendary VS1400, but with many additional features that enhance reliability and simplify service, such as plated cylinders and hydraulic valve lash adjusters.

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
