2001 SUZUKI INTRUDER VS800 This Suzuki was just traded. It is the VS800 Intruder model and is in great condition. The bike makes for a great commuter or beginner bike. It is water cooled and carbureted. The overall condition is very good. The previous owner did store it outside under a cover so it does have some light spots of rust. A few bolts and brackets but nothing major. The paint and chrome is very good with no dents, scratches or pitting. The bike has fallen on it side and the only damage that can be found is to the end of the turn-signals and the left exhaust muffler which has some scrapes. The color is gloss black. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. The rear tire has about 75% tread life while the front is about 55%. The front brakes are fairly new and the rear pads fine as well. All the lights, gauges and horn work 100%. I have taken this bike on a short reliability run and the engine, clutch and gearbox all work and sound as they should. Japan Needs Your Help
Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

Tue, 21 Jun 2011Official photographs and details of the updated 2012 Suzuki V-Strom have emerged as the Japanese manufacturer continues its prolonged teaser campaign to hype its “New Middle-Class Motorcycle”. Indeed, the latest teaser is expected later today but images and specifications on the updated Wee-Strom have emerged from Suzuki’s global site. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 will again be powered by a SV650-derived 90-degree V-Twin engine with a displacement of 645cc.
AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
