2001 SUZUKI INTRUDER VS800 This Suzuki was just traded. It is the VS800 Intruder model and is in great condition. The bike makes for a great commuter or beginner bike. It is water cooled and carbureted. The overall condition is very good. The previous owner did store it outside under a cover so it does have some light spots of rust. A few bolts and brackets but nothing major. The paint and chrome is very good with no dents, scratches or pitting. The bike has fallen on it side and the only damage that can be found is to the end of the turn-signals and the left exhaust muffler which has some scrapes. The color is gloss black. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. The rear tire has about 75% tread life while the front is about 55%. The front brakes are fairly new and the rear pads fine as well. All the lights, gauges and horn work 100%. I have taken this bike on a short reliability run and the engine, clutch and gearbox all work and sound as they should. Mon, 09 Jul 2012If you miss seeing factory two stroke racing machinery being ridden properly then you should consider a trip to the Spa classic event in 2013. I was the lucky recipient of an invitation to ride there last week and had a blast riding some tasty kit from the past. I went well at Spa in 250cc GPs but the circuit scared me on the 500s.

While Schwantz wore RS Taichi gear during several of his memorable seasons in the 500cc class, his partnership and success with Taichi apparel all started with his victory at the 1988 Daytona 200. And now that Schwantz and the Circuit of the Americas have settled their differences, the 1993 world champ took to the track in RS Taichi leathers again for the first time recently at the Circuit of The Americas media day, as newly appointed motorcycle ambassador for the circuit.

Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
