Suzuki Intruder description

1999 Suzuki Intruder 800, Great Shape! - The Intruder 800 is so clean, you could almost just sit back and admire it. Almost. But one ride and you discover that -- as stunning as the Intruder 800 looks -- it performs even better. Grab a fistful of throttle as you accelerate up a freeway onramp. In a couple of heartbeats you're flowing with traffic. Credit for its strong acceleration and low-end responsiveness goes to its liquid-cooled powerplant. It features a single overhead camshaft operating four valves per cylinder and Suzuki's exclusive Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber (TSCC) design.

Kevin Schwantz Unveils Suzuki GSX-RR At Motegi

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

From a Suzuki press release: The 2015 Suzuki MotoGP GSX-RR was unveiled at today’s Motegi MotoGP race in Japan as 1993 World 500cc GP Champion Kevin Schwantz was joined by 1982 World Champion Franco Uncini for demonstration laps at the Twin Ring circuit. Schwantz, who joined the Suzuki MotoGP test team for its test at Austin in Texas, USA earlier this year, rode the GSX-RR while Uncini demonstrated the GSV-R that last competed in the 2011 MotoGP series. Kevin Schwantz: “I started very carefully as we didn’t start from pit-lane and without tyre warmers, but I soon felt the machine was being very stable and I was able to speed-up.

A clash between two sport-touring heavyweights Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield It seems like all the splash lately has been about the ADV category and all the wonderful things they can do and destinations they can reach. We’re not going to deny adventure bikes their time in the sun, either. They’re definitely fun and capable bikes worthy of all the bandwagoning.

2023 Suzuki GSX-8S First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Suzuki's all-new platform is a sign of things to come. At long last, the spiritual successor to Suzuki’s wildly popular SV650 (but not the actual successor, the SV is still staying in the Suzuki lineup) is finally here. Say hello to the GSX-8S, a motorcycle Suzuki says was “engineered from the ground up as an innovative path for future Suzuki sportbikes…” While we all process what that means for Suzuki’s future, let’s delve into the present day and take a closer look at Suzuki’s new middleweight naked bike.
