Suzuki Hayabusa description

This is a 2005 Hayabusa that was bought in 2005 for just drag racing. So I had it put to a salvage title for this time frame. The bike has NEVER been wrecked or laid down.I have had the inspections done and the bike is now street able again. Title in hand. The end of the season last year decided not to race no more and traded the racing skins I had bought, with a guy for his street skins they were a little messed up but had everything I needed to go back to street.I had a guy paint it white with a clear purple pearl, not the best paint job I have seen. This bike has a few big ticket items on it, one is the Carrozzeria Performance wheels with Galfer wave rotors. I had micro blue ceramic bearing put in for easier roll out. The transmission has been back cut for easier shifting. The swingarm is a Velocity Prolite 8 to 10 over, with air. Vortex adjustable pegs front, custom front seat,MPS kill, iridium wind screen, new clutches, new Amsoil, new vortex rear sprocket and front spocket, and new battery. The bike has no power commander and has never had one hooked up to it, it is all stock. Dual stock exhaust with tips welded on. The bike has some chips in the paint from riding this summer and a very small crack in the tail section from the painter dropping it or so he said. The bike has shinko 003 tires that were put on at the begining of the season. While I drag raced it my mechanic was very firm about changing the oil every third race and changing the clutches regular. I have mirror block off plates, fiberglass inner panels new clutch and brake levers. The bar ends were CNC out off aluminum billet to look like the stock ones. It has no ignition key, but is set up with three toggles to flip to start it, I know this might scare alot of you but if not flipped in the right sequence the bike will not start, plus you also still have the kill cord. I have tried to cover everything if you have any questions I would prefer you to call or text (620) 791-8642 and ask for mike, I don't check e-mail that often.  The Reserve will be set low.

Contradictory Rumors Continue to Swirl Around Hopkins’ Plans

Suzuki GSX-R day at Snetterton

Wed, 21 Jul 2010

I have to hold my hands up and make a confession. I have completely changed my mind about Suzuki’s GSX-R1000 K9. Back in the depths of winter I rode our long termer and found myself (without trying) doing jail-sentence speeds by doing nothing other than short shifting through the gear on half throttle.

Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.
