Hi, came close to selling this bike recently on eBay so thought I would raise the stakes and remove the reserve! The ONLY reason I am selling this beast of a bike, I bought this thinking I would store it by the Santa Ana Mountains (40 miles away) and drive out there weekly to ride it on the dirt..unfortunately I got made redundant after i purchased the bike so having a full dirt bike setup in the middle of Hollywood I decided to swap the wheels out for the street (that was in August) the bike has since been sitting in the garage..I have taken it around the neighborhood a couple of times and in the canyons twice and this thing is just PHENOMENAL lighter than a 690 SMC with the same power and if you have ever ridden on of those thumpers you will immediately know the attraction.. Leggy sport tourers, or crossovers, aren’t exactly a new thing, and since bikes like the Kawasaki Versys, Yamaha Tracer 9 GT, and BMW S 1000 XR exist, there is already some healthy competition for Hamamatsu to contend with. Suzuki tells us this is its most technologically advanced motorcycle yet, making the GSX-S1000GX a sort of flagship product for the brand.

The new 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE replaces the 1050XT model, and adds new features to make it a more capable off-road machine such as a 21-inch front wheel, longer-stroke suspension, and a larger aluminum bash plate. Both models remain powered by a 1037cc V-Twin engine, but for 2023, Suzuki introduced new hollow sodium-filled exhaust valves, claiming reduced temperature in the combustion chamber, and thus improved efficiency and durability.
