2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Specs Released
Mon, 23 Sep 2013Suzuki continued its nearly year-long tease for its new V-Strom 1000, releasing new pictures and full technical specifications for the highly-anticipated adventure tourer. We first saw the 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 at the 2012 Intermot Show in Cologne last October. For a concept, the V-Strom appeared close to being ready for production, and the new photos of the production model show very few visual changes from the past year.

The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Sun, 23 Feb 2014When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
