This GSX-F 650 was bought new by my brother. Clear title. He has meticulously maintained it over the years and it has just over 7500 miles. This was his baby. New chain, battery and tires. I was asked to sell this for him. The first fellow that took it for a test drive at the storage unit where it is stored went out of sight and simply dropped it, while stopped, breaking the front right turn lamp. Before he could get back to me he dumped it on the left side going no more than 15mph. The guy scratched the magneto cover good, bent the clutch lever and bar end. These parts can be replaced for about $150-200. There are a couple of very minor scratches which are evident in the last three photos. Still a sound bike and a wonderful ride. I have a truck and am willing to deliver the bike (within reason) with buyer responsible for transportation costs. Please contact me with any questions or requests to test drive. This race is part of the eMotoRacing series, which runs in conjunction with AHRMA. The 96 volt student-built prototype racebike will compete in the eSuperSport class against a field of production based Brammo Empulses. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
