Time has come to sell my 2009 GSXR 1000, the bike is in excellent condition: no scratches, no dings, never been raced, never been laid down. Never slept out side, always garaged and seasonally stored in a climate controlled building. All adult ridden.
I meticulously maintain all my toys with proper maintenance and cleaning with the best possible products. Many bolt on upgrades: Yoshimura header and mid pipe Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust Power command module K&N air filter Tinted Hot Bodies wind screen Carbon fiber gel seat with GSXR logo Carbon fiber frame sliders Carbon fiber tank protector Carbon fiber rear spools Carbon fiber handle nobs Fender eliminator with blue leds New front and rear Pilot power 2 CT tires with 1000 miles on them Recent maintenance: Oil and filter changed every 3000 miles or seasonally. Brake and coolant changed every other year. Chain cleaned every 500 miles. Heinen sports serviced the bike @ 25,000 miles and replaced spark plugs, air filter cleaning, new chain and sprokets, replaced tires, adjusted engine valve clearances, and re-sealed front forks. Shoei helmet and Joe Rocket jacket with pads included. Cover included. I do not need help selling the bike. Serious inquiries only. Title is in hand. Thanks for looking, have a great day! Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
Haslam's first WSB win immortalised in paint
Thu, 13 Jan 2011Titled 'Winning Start' this limited edition print illustrates Leon Haslam taking his first ever WSB win. Phillip Island, 2010 will forever be marked as an important race for Haslam, in his first race with Alstare Suzuki the Briton converted a career-first WSB pole position in to his first ever World championship race victory. Only 250 of the prints by Isle of Man artist Alan Perkin are available.
