After launching their website last week, the California based Electric Moto Corporation has now announced the IPG Group as their agency of record to help increase brand awareness and bring in some investor interest.  According to their website, other then the EMAX 72 DS electric motorcycle, there is a scooter, ATV, bicycle and a personal watercraft on the drawing board. A little while ago, Honda revealed a 130mph tractor lawn mower with an engine from a Superhawk. Along a similar vein is the Isle of Man’s Garage Insanity with a mobility scooter equipped with a 600cc inline-four engine from a Suzuki Katana. According to Garage Insanity, the mobility scooter has a theoretical top speed of 140mph given enough running room, though in practice, it’s only been timed at 102.2 mph over a quarter-mile.

Yoshimura Offering Limited Edition Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes

Yoshimura made a name for itself tuning championship-winning Suzuki racebikes, but for the first time, the company is producing a run of limited edition Gixxers for the public. Yoshimura R&D of America is offering a number of 2011 and 2012 Suzuki GSX-R600s, GSX-R750s and GSX-R1000s equipped with a host of upgrades. Each individually numbered GSX-R comes equipped with EPA- and CARB-compliant Yoshimura R-77 carbon fiber slip-ons and a number of aluminum CNC machined components.
