Suzuki GSX-R tech info

Suzuki GSX-R description
2008 Suzuki Gsx-R 1000, Bike only has 4750 miles on it. Has been laid down once at 5mph or less (rear tire slid out from under me on sand turning out of a parking lot). All damage was cosmetic, and I fixed the most noticeable things. Did not fix small crack in rear fairing or scratch on engine cover since you can hardly notice them anyway. Rear fairing can be replace for less than $150 if you choose to. Bike has the power output selector that allows you to change output from 600-750-1000. Suppose to be for fuel purposes. Bike has a Jardin GP style exhaust(have stock mufflers if you want them, came off the bike 2 days after I bought it). This bike has more than enough power, if you are not a seasoned rider, this bike will get away from you quick. Seat has been changed to a GSXR gel seat with carbon fiber look. Only reason I'm selling is because my wife and I don't ride like we use to, as you can tell by the mileage on the bike. Bought brand new in Feb '09 and we've only put 4750 miles on it. Most of those are from my wife after I bought another motorcycle(which is listed in another ad), so it's been babied. Bike has never been stunted or raced. Garage kept since new. I have title in hand. I prefer local pickup, but if you want it shipped it's at your expense and I will not let bike leave until funds have cleared. Asking $9000 OBO, no low ballers, bike is paid for so not desperate to sell it. $9,000.00 3523166323

Motorcycle So Big It Needs Training Wheels
Tue, 21 May 2013Apparently, the American motto of “bigger is better” has struck a chord with someone in China, of all places. This giant beast of a motorcycle measures over 14 feet long and almost eight feet tall, and was built by a Chinese sewage plant worker in his spare time. The motorcycle is so big, it needs outriggers to make sure it doesn’t tip over.
Hopkins Breaks Hand in Testing Crash – Yes, THAT Hand
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Crescent Fixi Suzuki racer John Hopkins has broken a bone in his right hand during the first day of testing at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger. Hopkins high-sided entering a corner riding a 2011-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 (the 2012 superbike was not yet ready).
