After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Is This the New Suzuki V-Strom 650?
Wed, 01 Jun 2011Suzuki has released a teaser for a new mid-sized adventure bike, likely an updated V-Strom. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.

With just one Suzuki on the grid, expectations are low for the Japanese manufacturer. But one thing Suzuki does do well is put out an attractive looking racebike with the GSV-R dressed in Rizla Suzuki blue with livery by Troy Lee Designs.
