Hello.Up for auction is a 2007 Suzuki GSXR-600RR. I got it as a trade for some work I did and don't really ride it much so I'm selling it, It only has a little over 3,000 original miles. Bike is barely used. From what I can tell, its in good shape overall...Does have some normal wear ie; light paint chips, scratches but nothing serious. Bike runs great. Tires look to be in decent shape as well. I have the title, it is clean and clear. I guess previous owner took off the stock muffler. It's just got an open tailpipe so it's a little loud. Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer
Wed, 20 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.
Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
Suzuki Requests Invite to Official 2013 MotoGP Tests
Tue, 11 Dec 2012When Suzuki pulled out of MotoGP racing a year ago, the manufacturer said it hoped to return by the 2014 season. In the time since suspending its MotoGP program, Suzuki has been showing signs it is on track for a 2014 return. Work on Suzuki’s 1000cc MotoGP project is apparently proceeding as planned, with the manufacturer reportedly ready to join official testing during the upcoming season.
