Up for sale is my beloved precious baby - a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 - along with all of my motorcycle gears. I have decided to part ways with my most prized possession for something greater. For the record, she was laid down once, but it was a right in front of my house at a speed of less than 15 mph. The bike slipped out from under me due to gravel/small particles on the pavement as I turned into the driveway. I never did bother to fix the left-side flairing or the crankcase cover (can be seen in pictures) because I wanted a reminder to always be careful, but this is an easy fix. You can do it yourself and get the necessary material brand new on eBay for a total of $300 or less. Besides that little incident, this bike has always been garage-kept and under a cover when not in use. As you can see by the low mileage on this motorcycle, it hasn't been used as often as it should. Maybe the new owner can fix that. I don't race nor do any wheelies so this bike rarely (if ever) gets abused. The bike has received an oil/filter change every year even when it isn't necessary. I bought a new battery (BikeMaster AGM Battery - google gel battery for list of benefits) a year ago and that should last for another 3 - 4 years. I have also purchased a new set of tires (front and rear) about two ago so this bike shouldn't need new tires for a while. I have the title in hand and it is clear. Mon, 18 Oct 2010When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits the Smoke very nicely, thanks.
Kevin Schwantz Visits Suzuki Headquarters Ahead of Suzuka 8-Hours
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz recently visited Japan to take part in the official test for the 2014 Coca-Cola Zero Suzuka 8-Hours. Schwantz, who last year finished third at Suzuka riding for Team Kagayama, is part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Advance Legend Racing Team and will ride alongside his 1986 Suzuka 8-Hour partner Satoshi Tsujimoto and Suzuki Moto GP test rider Nobuatsu Aoki. Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour
Sat, 01 Mar 2014Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.
