2006 Suzuki Gsx-R 600, The bike is lowered and stretched, which is good for shorter riders, but can still fit taller people. The levers are also adjustable for smaller hands, if need be. It also has a full crash cage. There are only minor defects on the fairings. We bought it for my wife to ride, but she never got into it and we rarely rode. There are 20,900 miles on it. Motorcyclist Nabbed For Going 166 MPH on NY Thruway
Fri, 04 May 2012McCarthy’s wit isn’t as quick as his motorcycle. “A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.” (Proverbs 12:23 KJV) According to reports, New York State Police arrested Nikkolaus McCarthy, 25, of Charlton, N.Y., this past Wednesday afternoon after he was “clocked” riding his motorcycle at 166 mph on the New York State Thruway in Ravena, N.Y. But it seems McCarthy needs to learn the simple concept of avoiding self-incrimination.
Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.
