Suzuki GSX-R description

Beautiful 2006 GSXR 1000 in what I believe is the best color ever. This thing looks pretty much like new, never down, with seat cowl, and Akrapovic full carbon fiber exhaust, tuned, and Power Commander 3, new Pirelli tires, Torx frame and swingarm sliders. Everyone knows that about the K5\K6 GSXR 1000 and how they were the cream of the crop GSXR 1000's. You do not have to open up the throttle much at all for this thing just taking off, it is super fast! Every time you ride this thing you will have a huge smile on your face the whole ride and for a while after you get home. The bike only has 8803 miles and may go up a little as I am trying to ride as much as I can before it goes (when my body lets me). It breaks my heart to have to sell this particular bike, but I am moving and have to sell my off collection and I cannot ride that much anymore due to some existing injuries and about to turn 50. There is a scratch on the seat cowl that I did when I accidently hit it with my foot while it was on the ground, and some very small damage done on one lower fairing when the bike was in storage with the original owner. It is not much at all on either one but want to disclose (see pics). That is all that is wrong with the bike at all which for 10 years old is not much. This bike has been very well taken care of and not abused at all. The engine and everything not mentioned is immaculate like new. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and fees and will need set that up on your own. $500.00 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours. If you are local you are welcome to come look at the bike and local pickup is fine too. I will accept PayPal for the deposit and cashiers check for the rest, or PayPal, but there will be a fee for that. Please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have, or for any additional pics. Please do not bid unless you are serious about buying the bike.

Volkswagen Buys 20 Percent Share in Suzuki

Fri, 11 Dec 2009

Months of rumors and a more credible report yesterday have culminated in the official news that Volkswagen will take a 20 percent share in Japanese automaker Suzuki, worth $2.5 billion. Volkswagen has its sights set on becoming the world’s largest automaker and with Suzuli’s small-car expertise, it hopes to make a large expansion into developing markets, like India. The news comes just a day after VW officially took a 49.9 percent stake in Porsche.

James Stewart Splits From JGRMX, Signs with Yoshimura Suzuki

Mon, 07 May 2012

James Stewart and the Joe Gibbs Racing MX (JGRMX) Yamaha racing team have agreed to cut ties, ending their multi-year contract after a single AMA Supercross season. Stewart almost immediately signed a new multi-year deal with Yoshimura Suzuki to compete in both the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships. Stewart had a promising start to the season with JGRMX but wasn’t as competitive as eventual champion Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey.

2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.
