GREAT VALUE. - Motorcyclist magazines Motorcycle Of The Year for 2003 and Cycle Worlds Best Superbike for 03, the GSX-R1000 has racked up accomplishments and awards and will continue that tradition of dominance in 2004. The GSX-R1000 is sharply styled and its fairing houses multi-reflector, vertically mounted headlights for a narrow profile, improved aerodynamics and highly effective ram air system. This narrow theme is carried throughout the machine with the slim tank and sleek tail section. The GSX-R gauge features a white-faced stepping motor analog tachometer, digital LCD speedometer, odometer/tripmeter, clock and water temperature readouts. LEDs are also used for the turn signal, high beam, neutral and fuel level indicators. A reverse trike very similar to the Campagna T-Rex, Virginia-based Tanom has just unveiled the Invader Model R at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Powered by a 1340cc Suzuki Hayabusa engine, the Invader Model R shares the same chassis, body and motor as the Invader TC-3 coupe and receives a number of performance enhancements.

Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

Mon, 29 Aug 201127-year-old Humayun Kobir is recovering in a Toronto hospital after receiving a serious laceration to his neck after riding into a line of wire strung across an intersection. According to local reports, Kobir felt a sharp pain in his neck after riding through an intersection on his Suzuki GSX-R on Aug. 27, his 27th birthday.
