Suzuki GSX-R description

 2004 custom Suzuki GSX-R 1000  RESERVE LOWERED!

This is one of the slickest GSX-Rs you will find on eBay or the streets.  Super fast 1000, runs fantastic.  Engine was recently gone through by a professional motorcycle shop (Two Wheel Customs, Charlotte NC), so even though the bike has 25K miles, it runs like brand new.

Other things that set this bike apart from the rest:
Custom 10" swing arm w/ 18" rear wheel and 240 tire.
NEW front and rear tires
NEW chain
Lowered suspension (looks killer and makes it real easy to touch the ground at stop lights)
HID headlights, both high and low beams.  (Super bright!)
LED turn signal and brake lights
NEW rotors and brake pads, front & rear
Tinted windscreen
Yoshimura slip-on chrome exhaust
NEW clutch

The following items have been recently powdercoated:  rims, controls, pegs, swingarm and other misc items (please see pictures).

There are many other mods done, too many to list.  Please look at the pictures and video to get a good look at this fantastic bike!

All that great stuff, so whats wrong with it?  It was laid down one time.  There was NO frame damage and the title is CLEAN.  All damage was repaired (replacement fairings).  The only damage that remains is a small scuff on the exhaust (see pictures).  There is also one scratch on the tail section from having a passenger on the back.  Its minimal and can be seen in the pictures.  Please look at all the pictures and video to see how great this bike is!

I care about my 100% positive feedback, and I plan on keeping it 100%, so I did my best to accurately describe this bike.  If there is ANYTHING you need or want to know, have questions or are confused about something, or even want to arrange to see the bike or request more pictures, PLEASE call me: 704-906-4597 (Josh) and I will be happy to oblige.

Bike is for sale locally, so I may end auction early for local buyer if reserve is not met.  Moral of the story, if this bike is what you are looking for (how could it not???), then get your bids in early.

Isle of Man TT 2013: Dainese Superbike Race Results

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

It was delayed by a day but the Isle of Man TT’s Dainese Superbike race finally went underway Sunday. Originally scheduled to open the 2013 Isle of Man TT, the race was pushed back a day because poor weather earlier in the week prevented proper practice and qualifying. Even then, the Superbike race was delayed 45 minutes from its rescheduled start time due to a traffic accident.

University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.

WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
