Suzuki GSX-R description

 2002 Suzuki GSX-R 600 Track Bike.

Works perfect. I bought it from AMA Racer Ted Rich in Phoenix AZ. He used it for his Superbike Racing School. It is serviced and maintained by his shop. Fairings have some scratches but great overall appearance. Starts, brakes, shifts, runs the way it should.

Internals are basically stock, brand new Yoshimura Exhaust. AMP Sound certified. Track tires have 1 track day on them.

The bike has a japanese VIN so it can't be titled in the US. Track day only, Bill of sale. The bike is sold "as-is".

The story leading up to the opening round of the 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season was whether anyone would be able to keep up with defending champion Josh Hayes. After all, the Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider dominated the competition last season winning 16 of 20 races including a string of 10 in a row. The season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway appeared to start on script with Hayes qualifying in pole position.

The GSX-S1000 street fighter, based on the 2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000 K5 sportbike engine, and its faired F-version came out two years ago. This spectacular couple began the new year of 2017 with updates. The rider will certainly notice the presence of a new clutch with reverse slip, providing smoother downshifts!

James Stewart Splits From JGRMX, Signs with Yoshimura Suzuki

Mon, 07 May 2012

James Stewart and the Joe Gibbs Racing MX (JGRMX) Yamaha racing team have agreed to cut ties, ending their multi-year contract after a single AMA Supercross season. Stewart almost immediately signed a new multi-year deal with Yoshimura Suzuki to compete in both the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships. Stewart had a promising start to the season with JGRMX but wasn’t as competitive as eventual champion Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey.
