2001 Suzuki GSX-R1000, 2001 GSXR 1000 - Looking for a liter bike? This GSXR may be what your looking for. and affordable. Some consider this generation to be the most comfortable of them all. Great balance of torque, handling, and brakes. This bike has many upgrades and add ons: 2005 1000 front suspension and brakes, Carbon Fiber Ram air tubes, Blue windscreen, Vortex Clipons, Braided Brake lines, lightech gas cap, Puig Hugger, Yoshimura Seat, Factory Pro engine case w/ slider, Frame Sliders,Yoshimura Exhaust, undertail light kit, swingarm spools, and new Grips. Overall, a nice example of an 01 1000. however, there is a slight crack in the tail from the bolt hole, (shown in pic) and There are no passenger pegs or seat with this motorcycle. as with all bikes sold here, Karns Performance includes FREE lifetime State inspections as long as you own the bike (this does NOT include parts and labor needed to pass) All new open-class sport model featuring several lightweight engine and chassis performance features for a class-leading power-to-weight ratio and a low 375 lb. dry weight.

Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.

Fri, 19 Feb 2010ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.
