1996 Suzuki GSXR 750 SRAD. Runs mint, shifts smooth, no mechanical issues. Charging system was recently upgraded with ElectroSport high performance stator and Shorai lithium Iron battery ($240) + Shorai battery charger ($199). Michelin Pilot tires with only 1000 miles on them. Yoshimura RS-3 full exhaust system. Shorty levers.
Bodywork is in good condition but it does show sings of wear (no road rash or cracks but the top of the tank does have a bunch of surface scratches, some of the paint on the fairings is faded, right air intake clearcoat is peeling off, rider's seat has 2 rips). Brakes, chain and sprockets are all good. All lights and instruments/gauges work properly. It has a clean, transferable Massachusetts title. RESERVE PRICE IS SET LOW! Volkswagen Buys 20 Percent Share in Suzuki
Fri, 11 Dec 2009Months of rumors and a more credible report yesterday have culminated in the official news that Volkswagen will take a 20 percent share in Japanese automaker Suzuki, worth $2.5 billion. Volkswagen has its sights set on becoming the world’s largest automaker and with Suzuli’s small-car expertise, it hopes to make a large expansion into developing markets, like India. The news comes just a day after VW officially took a 49.9 percent stake in Porsche.

Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
