Up for your consideration is a 1989 GSXR1100. I feel the condition of this bike is way above average for the year and miles (4400 miles). The originality speaks volumes as to who owned it and how it was treated. The bike was bought by me as a collector bike and never put on the street. It has been keep in my climate controlled garage for the past several years. Since most of these bikes have been crashed and repainted you would be hard pressed to fine another in the condition of mine . The only modification is the vance & hines exhaust which was installed at the dealer when new . This bike still wears its original michelin tires which i have included a picture of the date code. Please keep in mind that this is a 27 year old motorcycle that has been off the road since 1995 and will need normal maintenance if you have intentions of riding it. I won't say anymore about that as I will let the pictures of the bike speak for themselves. Suzuki Recalls 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman Scooters
Fri, 10 Feb 2012Suzuki issued a recall campaign for its 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman scooters due to a defect in the brake light activation switches. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear brake lights may not activate when the rider squeezes the brake levers of the affected models. As a result, other road users behind the affected unit may not realize it is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Suzuki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Suzuki reported a 13.1% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, but still managed a 17.8% increase in net sales from its motorcycle division. That may seem like a paradox, but the results can be explained by a more favorable exchange rate for the Japanese yen and by looking closer at where those sales decreases took place. The yen has turned around significantly over the last year and a half, vastly improving how foreign sales affect Suzuki’s bottom line.
Blake Young to Ride Attack Performance CRT in Three U.S. MotoGP Rounds
