Large fuel tank provides 250 mile range. Very low maintenance. All services have been performed by local mechanics. Recently replaced the tires. The low seat height and overall light weight setup inspires confidence. Because the engine is less than 600cc, insurance rates are super low. Smoke windscreen. Tool kit under seat. Bike has been down, but only cosmetic damage. No damage to frame, bars and rims are straight, no tears in the seat, no leaks, all indicator lights/blinkers/headlight/taillight operable, and engine runs like new. Shots Fired at Suzuki Motorcycle India Factory as Labor Strife Heats Up
Tue, 11 Oct 2011A man is facing charges after reports of gunshots and employees allegedly assaulted with glass bottles at Suzuki’s motorcycle plant in Gurgaon, India, as workers demonstrated in a sympathy strike in support of their counterparts at a Suzuki automobile plant. According to the Indian Express, a man representing a company which supplies contract workers for Suzuki Motorcycle India allegedly fired his gun into the air and assaulted workers with beer bottles to intimidate them into calling off the strike. Two people were reportedly injured by thrown bottles.

Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
Suzuki has prepared a touring version of the V-Strom, the 1050XT Tour
Fri, 11 Dec 2020Suzuki has expanded its lineup by simply adding three black-painted aluminum panniers to the older V-Strom. The resulting "V-Strom" package has acquired its own name: Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Tour. The total volume of the top and both side cases is 112 liters.
