Suzuki GS description

2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Turbo. This bike has 265hp and currently holds the Hawaii State record for ¼ mile street bikes at 8.4 seconds. Not bad for a Hawaii track. All work was done at RevTek Speed and Tuning. The frame, swing arm, and some other parts are actually hand polished and not chrome. The panels has a custom paint job by Cosmic Custom Airbrush. The Japanese style tattoo artwork is the theme of the bike. On the front is a Mask of Hannya and the tail has Raijin (Thunder God) and Fujin (Wind God). See link for more images and videos. Schwantz Headlines 2012 Isle of Man TT Parade Lap

Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz headlines a star-studded group of racers taking part in a parade lap during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
