Suzuki GS description

2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Turbo. This bike has 265hp and currently holds the Hawaii State record for ΒΌ mile street bikes at 8.4 seconds. Not bad for a Hawaii track. All work was done at RevTek Speed and Tuning. The frame, swing arm, and some other parts are actually hand polished and not chrome. The panels has a custom paint job by Cosmic Custom Airbrush. The Japanese style tattoo artwork is the theme of the bike. On the front is a Mask of Hannya and the tail has Raijin (Thunder God) and Fujin (Wind God). See link for more images and videos. Thu, 27 Dec 2018

The legendary beast goes down in history after twenty years of dominating the highways, dragstrips and the earth's surface in general. The hyperbike is being discontinued due to non-compliance with the Euro-4 environmental standard, but its story does not end there. The company is clearly preparing its successor, as indicated by the renewal of the Hayabusa trademarks.

Goodbye RM85 Suzuki

Tue, 10 May 2011

An old friend dropped in this weekend, on his way back from an arse-killing 4,500 mile ride to Estoril and back to watch the MotoGP race. He has only ever ridden Harley chops and old stuff with the exception of his vague nod at practicality and modernity - an ancient, very, very high mileage R1100GS BMW. I made him a brew and some pasta arrabiatta then made him ride my 2011 Fireblade.
