Suzuki GS description

Up for sale is my 82 GS750E, bike has 38k miles but I use it daily so it will climb. Clear NYS title in my name.
Bike is in a decent shape, not pristine but a good solid commuter.

It has current NYS inspection good till June 2014

Front tire is a year old Shinko,
530 sprocket o-ring chain conversion last year
New seat cover, by Travelcade
All lights work, rear tail light has integrated blinkers LED
4-1 Supertrapp Exhaust
New Daytona Bikemaster handlebar, new grips, new bar end mirrors.
Upgraded R/R
Blade type Fuse block
New Starter Solenoid
Carbs were fully rebuilt two years ago by me. Still in decent shape

Rear tire although is not worn is approaching the six year mark
Left front fork seal started weeping and needs to be replaced.

I am in Brooklyn NY 11209 and can show the bike in the evenings after 7 or weekends. I have the bike listed for sale locally as well. I encourage you to come see the bike prior to buying it. Payment will be cash on pick-up I will not ship the bike although can deliver within day of riding distance you pay for the bus ticket back.

I had a couple people come by and all of them didn't realize how big the bike is. I am 6'4" and the bike is set up for me, i have original shocks that would put the bike to stock height which is still pretty tall. If you are under 5'6 most likely this bike is not for you, if you are a beginner this bike is not for you. A good bike to learn from the 80's would be a GS450, two carbs less to adjust and a good 100lbs lighter.

Retro Rumble Redux: Kawasaki Z900RS Vs Suzuki Katana

Fri, 28 Feb 2020

Katana Hot Tin Roof Credit: Videos by Sean Matic Lately, it’s like time travel around here. A couple years ago we put the then-new Kawasaki Z900RS up against the Suzuki GSX-S1000 in a slightly apples-to-oranges comparo, Retro or Not(ro), which the Kawi won by a hair. Now that Suzuki has their own retro based upon the GSX-S in the Katana, we felt like we had to do it again.
