You are bidding on a very nice 1981 Suzuki GS450S Cafe Racer which has been meticulously brought forward to this condition.  You can see that the bike is in awesome condition.  Many many hours and lots of money was spent to tune the bike to perfection and get everything on this bike to be awesome.  This is a daily rider.

New exhaust, wrapped.  New Cafe seat.New IRC tires.   New gauges.  New cafe mirrors.  New bars.  New shocks.   4 New cafe turn signals.

Over $1000 was spent just on getting the correct parts to make this bike in the kind of condition you would expect and would like to have so that you can ride it anywhere.

The bike starts, runs, rides perfect.  The brakes work perfect and the front disc will toss you over the bars if you don't know what you are doing.

The bike has about 5000 original miles on it.  The speedometer was replaced with the cafe style speedometer which has 85 miles ridden on the bike since the gauges were installed.    I do have the original rear fender/tail light that you can have with the bike.

The rear cafe seat and tail light have been perfected so that the look is there,   Look at the tires.  They are perfect.  They are new.  I mean, if you want an awesome cafe bike, this one is it!!!!!   Bid to win!!!!!!  No disappointments!!!

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

Inside Look at the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 [video]

Thu, 23 Dec 2010

Suzuki boasts that the GSX-R600 has long been America’s top selling sportbike, so when it undergoes a major overhaul everybody takes notice. For 2011 the GSX-R600 underwent a plethora of big changes, all of which resulted in a weight loss of about 20 pounds. Helping this middleweight supersport shed pounds is a new frame, a 41mm Show Big Piston Fork, radially mounted Brembo monoblock brake calipers, as well as smaller axles and wheel hubs.
