Suzuki GS description

Hello, you are looking at a 1981 Suzuki GS850GL Project Bike. I bought the bike with the idea of creating a cafe style bike. I was able to take it down to the frame and get the entire engine apart and glass bead blasted. There are many other parts that were glass bead blasted too. I have everything for the bike except for the exhaust and a few odds and ends. all major components are there. You can build a running bike out of this minus exhaust. I have a new unopened engine gasket kit. 2 heads one is solid and the other one I was using for parts. I have a rear tail light with integrated turn signals, rear cafe hoop for the seat. One thing that I wold like to point out is that the pistons were cleaned in a chemical bath and NOT wired brushed! You can see the original crosshatch marks in the cylinder walls too. I also have a Suzuki shop manual specificng all the correct factory torques and how to re assemble everything. I have over $1300 into everything (Bike, tail light, cafe hoop, glass bead blasting, manual, gasket kit, etc.) The only reason I am selling it is due to other projects I am working on and don't have the time to complete this one.  It is a nice bike, the frame and engine are in excellent condition and it has a clean IL title!!!

****I WILL NOT SHIP THIS BIKE****

****Down payment is NON-REFUNDABLE*****

****Bike is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at any time.
