Suzuki GS description

This is a 1981 GS 650 L 4 cylinder 4 carbs. I have rode this bike and it runs very well .Chrome is in good shape(as u can see in pics ).Tires are good . I had my mechanic go over this bike this bike is ready for inspection.All gears work and shift fine shaft is smooth n fluid was changed .Carbs were cleaned and oil is fresh .Things needed or missing . Missing logo on the one side cover (shown in pics ).Needs a choke cable ( 23$ item) . I bought this as a parts bike an got it running, as i said this bike runs very well . I would keep it but I already have one. This a clean bike and ready for someone to ride it .

Suzuki is the latest company to trickle out bits of info about its upcoming new model, in this case, numerous teaser images of what looks to be the 2012 V-Strom. The biggest unknown at this point is what Suzuki has done to the old DL650’s V-Twin engine.

As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.

The Japanese are celebrating the 35th anniversary of the legendary Suzuki Katana motorcycle, whose appearance on the road still stuns the layman. Back in the day, the Japanese manufacturer relied on the European design studio Target Design to get an innovative motorcycle. Hans Muth, the ex-BMW designer at the time, presented two concepts: a 650cc prototype and a 1100cc version that ended up on the assembly line.
