MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
Suzuki announces new Hayabusa hyperbike generation

The bike has been produced since 1999 and is clearly not going to rest - the new "Busa" will take into account the disadvantages of modern motorcycles and get smarter. 2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
