2013 SUZUKI DR-Z400SM, The Suzuki DR-Z400SM is a street legal bike for serious dirt bike enthusiasts. It's not uncommon to take the SuperMoto down a twisty forest trail as well as a tight canyon corners. Its 398 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine provides strong low-rpm torque and crisp throttle response for any of these occasions. They key difference from the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S is the inverted forks. Inverted front forks contribute to less unsprung weight and improved overall handling. Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.

Fri, 29 Jun 2012Suzuki showrooms in China are about to look a lot different in a couple of days, with the usual small-displacement single-cylinder motorcycles making way for a couple of big behemoths. The Japanese manufacturer has joint ventures with four Chinese companies offering motorcycles and scooters, primarily small-displacement models. One of those joint ventures is Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co., which offers models such as the GT125 standard or the QS150 cruiser.
