GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
Craigslist Motorcycle Rip-Off
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Eduardo S. Cordero III, 22, allegedly robbed three Sierra Vista men at gunpoint in Tucson. Cordero advertised a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle that evidently didn’t exist, on Craigslist for $4,000 and lured the buyers in by taking $500 off the listed price.
Suzuki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results
Fri, 09 Nov 2012Suzuki made headlines earlier this week when its American subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 and announced it is quitting the automobile business to focus on motorcycles and its marine operations. American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. Today, Suzuki released its report for the first half of its 2012-2013 fiscal year, providing much needed context to the earlier news.
