2008 Suzuki DR-Z70 dirt bike. Has electric start with a new battery. This bike is ready to ride and will make your kid's Christmas go from good to absolutely AWESOME! Owned since new, this bike has been great. It is a 3 speed with automatic clutch, easy for beginners. Has an adjustable throttle-stop to limit the power if necessary. On a 1-10 scale: Cosmetic = 8.5-9.0, Mechanically = 9.0-9.5. Always been stored inside with regular service performed. Mostly ridden in the yard with a few trips to the trails. Never been in deep mud or water. All documentation available. It does have some minor scratches and wear as shown in the pictures. The rear tire is shown in one of the close-up photos, as well as a scratch on the right-side number plate. Vehicle is sold AS IS with no warranty. Local pickup preferred (near Falkville, AL 35622 ), or I can deliver on or before Dec. 24th within 100 miles for $0.80/mile. Feel free to ask questions. NOTE: The state of Alabama does not title Off-Road motorcycles. The buyer will be provided with a Bill of Sale. Tue, 21 Jun 2011Official photographs and details of the updated 2012 Suzuki V-Strom have emerged as the Japanese manufacturer continues its prolonged teaser campaign to hype its “New Middle-Class Motorcycle”. Indeed, the latest teaser is expected later today but images and specifications on the updated Wee-Strom have emerged from Suzuki’s global site. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 will again be powered by a SV650-derived 90-degree V-Twin engine with a displacement of 645cc.
Goodbye Hyperbike: Suzuki Ends Hayabusa Production

The hyperbike is being discontinued due to non-compliance with the Euro-4 environmental standard, but its story does not end there. The company is clearly preparing its successor, as indicated by the renewal of the Hayabusa trademarks.
2004-2013 Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes Recalled for Master Cylinder Replacement
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Suzuki is recalling 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 sportbikes as well as GSX-R1000 models from 2005-2013 because of a problem with their front brake master cylinders. As of publication, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not officially announced any recalls because of the federal government work stoppage, but notices have been sent out to dealerships across the U.S. Meanwhile, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has posted a recall, and we expect to see further news to come from other markets.
