Features Engine 805cc Fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected V-Twin, engine is built to deliver exciting torque from down low in the rpm range. Electronic fuel injection system features the Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve System (SDTV) - maintains optimum air velocity in the intake tract for smooth low-to-mid rpm throttle response and high torque output. Multi-hole-type fuel injectors deliver a fine spray for a powerful yet fuel-efficient operation. Transmission Five-speed transmission features a high fifth gear ratio for relaxed highway cruising. Low-maintenance shaft final-drive system is clean-running with low torque reaction. Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Suzuki has prepared a touring version of the V-Strom, the 1050XT Tour
Fri, 11 Dec 2020Suzuki has expanded its lineup by simply adding three black-painted aluminum panniers to the older V-Strom. The resulting "V-Strom" package has acquired its own name: Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Tour. The total volume of the top and both side cases is 112 liters.
