Josh Hayes Wins Fourth AMA Superbike Title

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. Here, the AMA congratulates Josh Hayes on his accomplishment. 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Recalled for Defective Drive Chain

Suzuki Motor of America announced a recall on the 2014 V-Strom 650 ABS because of a problem with the drive chain. As of this writing, the recall campaign has not been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect this to be done shortly. Meanwhile north of the border, a similar recall has been announced for the 2014 Suzuki GSX650FA by Transport Canada describing a similar problem.

Suzuki unveils long-range V-Strom 1000XT Adventure

Adventure is based on the 1000XT, a top-of-the-range 1037cc V-twin with 99 hp. and spoked wheels and differs from it in additional equipment. The set includes 37-litre aluminum saddlebags, a center stand, heated grips, roll bars and a distinctive blue-silver-white paint job.
