2011 Suzuki M109R LE. Low and Mean custom front fender with a new Metzler 160 Tire mounted on the front. The rear tire is a new Metzler 260. The bike has a Hardkrome Sideburner exhaust which sounds amazing and thumps hard. Power commander 5 professionally dyno tuned by Karns Performance in Mechanicsburg Pa. The bike has been repainted gloss black with flat black trim. The bike has never been in an accident or dropped. Low miles. (5500) I'm asking slightly under blue book value for a quick sale. Tue, 25 Sep 2012Emile van Essen is from North Holland and, in a stroke of brilliance/lunacy, has replaced the original two-stroke three-cylinder of a 1976 Suzuki GT550 with a turbine. Sadly it does take a bit of time to get going, although any displeasure you might feel as a result would no doubt be offset by the joy of riding down the street emitting an ear-splitting howl, shattering glass and generally disturbing the peace.
Suzuki Recalls 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman Scooters
Fri, 10 Feb 2012Suzuki issued a recall campaign for its 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman scooters due to a defect in the brake light activation switches. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear brake lights may not activate when the rider squeezes the brake levers of the affected models. As a result, other road users behind the affected unit may not realize it is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
2013 Suzuki Hayabusa ABS Recall Expands to US
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Suzuki Motor of America has recalled the 2013 Hayabusa because of a problem with its anti-lock brake system. A Hayabusa recall was previously announced for the Canadian market, and it was no surprise a similar recall was announced for the U.S., as the issue traces back to a single part supplier, affecting several models from multiple manufacturers. The Suzuki Hayabusa is just one of several models from multiple manufacturers affected by a manufacturing error by ABS part supplier Nissin.
