Suzuki Boulevard description

I bought this bike in Maine in May 2012, rode it for that summer and then put it up for the winter in a climate controlled storage facility. It has always been covered or stored inside. Very well maintained, not ridden hard. Has never been dropped or crashed. I had installed a $1200 bobber kit from Blue Collar Bobbers, to include a custom hand stitched spring leather seat, rear fender, old school Ford taillight, side mount license plate bracket, bullet rear blinkers, bullet front blinkers, and speedometer re-locator bracket. Bike also has a set of Cobra drag pipes installed (installed when I purchased bike), sounds phenomenal. Tires are still in very good condition. I also have a DOT certified half helmet and a bike cover.

Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.

Oh hi there Mobil!

There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
