Suzuki Boulevard tech info

Suzuki Boulevard description
2007 Suzuki Boulevard S40 , This is a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard S40 (aka Suzuki Savage LS650). As you can see it only has 3,789 miles on it. I actually purchased this used from Honda of North Hollywood in 2011 when it only had 80 miles on it. I was told that it had originally been a gift from a man to his wife. However, this bike is a bit powerful for a beginner so she was quickly fearful of it. Thus it sat in their garage for a few years until he decided to sell it back to the dealership. As you can see I've put a few miles on it since then, however, 3,789 miles is still very low in regards to milage on a bike like this. I've recently replaced the break pads and oil, it runs very smoothly. I've never driven farther than 40 miles in one ride with this bike. It was primarily used for my 3 mile commute to work (no freeways) everyday. This is a great first bike to own. It has a lot more power than any of the standard beginner bikes, which is what originally drew me to the purchase. The S40 look is definitely classic and reminiscent of earlier cafe-racer bikes. (but don't get confused, this is definitely a cruiser style). If you're interested in Cafe Racers. RYCA motors () has a great mod-kit for this model of bike. Which transforms it into a really cool cafe racer or bobber style bike. Jay Leno actually has one and loves it. Honestly, if I had the time and the tools i wouldn't be selling it, I would be mod-ing it myself. The reason for me selling it is simply because I've outgrown the bike and have purchased a bigger / more powerful bike that I currently use much more than this one. I hate to have it just sitting around without a rider. If you are interested please contact me, I'm more than willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have about the bike. happy hunting! cheers, Proud 2007 Suzuki Boulevard S40 owner Contact either by email or cell - 650-521-1893 $3,249.00 6505211893

Yoshimura GSX1250FA EEC Approved Slip-On End-Can
Tue, 16 Feb 2010JAPANESE TUNING house Yoshimura has released a series of EEC-approved Slip-On exhausts suitable for the Suzuki Bandit GSF1250SA and the new fully-faired Suzuki GSX1250FA.At over 3kgs lighter than the OE Suzuki item, each Yoshimura Slip-On comes with the pipe work to mount to the standard front section plus all parts (including muffler clamp) required for installation. The EEC-approved silencer features two dB-killer baffles, one in the link pipe, one in the can and when both are removed power and torque are increased over stock, claim Yoshimura. With full EEC silencing both torque and power curves are identical to the standard output, but a dB-Killer in the link-pipe when used with an open exhaust gives solid gains, the company say.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-177-5L50 (Stainless Steel) 3.4kg £597.751A0-177-5L80 (Titanium) 3.2kg £666.731A0-177-5L81B (Titan Blue)* 3.2kg £747.191A0-177-5L20 (Metal Magic) 3.4kg £689.72For more information on this or any other Yoshimura product contact 01782 569800 or visit www.phoenixnw.co.uk to find your nearest dealer.
GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
