All mechanical is stock but it does have great practical aftermarket parts including: Kewel metal 2 bar riser, Corbin heated seat and pillion with removable backrest, adjustable rear shock with preload adjuster. The tires are Dunlop Elite 3 oem size with less than 100 miles on them. This bike is always garages under cover. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips
Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
2013 Yoshimura Limited Edition GSX-Rs
Mon, 10 Jun 2013A recent visit to the Yoshimura facility in Chino, CA, provided us an in-person peak at the company’s 2013 limited edition GSX-R. The burgundy red and black with metal flake and gold pin striping color scheme is both striking and sophisticated while subtle details such as the Yoshimura radiator stencil heighten its visual appeal. And these bikes are seriously limited – only 45 examples will be produced. Introduced last year Yoshimura says the response from Suzuki dealers and consumers alike has been nothing short of phenomenal. The 45 bikes produced this year will be a combination of 600, 750 and 1000cc models and the mix determined by dealer demand.
